Ingredients

1 package Abbot’s Whole Burger

2 slices heirloom tomato

⅓ cup vegan pesto

2 slices vegan mozzarella

4 large leaves butter lettuce

Description

With juicy tomato, creamy vegan mozzarella, and bright pesto, this Caprese-inspired burger recipe will transport you to coastal Italy. Feel especially satisfied and blissed out thanks to the whopping 22 grams of clean plant protein per patty in our Whole Burger.

Method

  1. Cook the Whole Burger according to the package directions. After flipping the burger, add a slice of plant-based mozzarella to the top of each patty. Cook 4-6 minutes, until the patty is golden and the cheese is beginning to melt.

  2. Assemble the burgers. Place a leaf of butter lettuce on a plate. Add the burger, then a slice of tomato, and a generous scoop of pesto. Then top with a second leaf of lettuce. Enjoy!
